Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning

4. Market Research and Analysis

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market opportunities and potential threats.

Social Media Specialist

Job Classification: Part-Time
Compensation: $20-23/hr

The Social Media Specialist at Cougar Digital is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a social media strategy for each of our clients along with our own social media platforms. You will create and curate engaging content, monitor social media channels, interact with the audience, analyze performance data, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to maximize social media presence and achieve marketing goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation and Curation

  • Develop and publish creative and engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook Instagram, and LinkedIn).
  • Work with our graphic design team to create visual assets, such as images, videos, infographics, and other multimedia content.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule.

2.Audience Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media channels.
  • Encourage user-generated content and engagement.

3. Social Media Advertising

  • Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Create strategy and budget proposals for prospective clients.
  • Optimize ad performance through A/B testing and data analysis.
  • Monitor ad budgets and ROI.
  • Establish effective conversion tracking.

4. Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, clicks, and conversions.
  • Prepare regular reports to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Present results and strategy recommendations to clients in quarterly meetings.

5. Social Media Trends and Strategy Development:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.

6. Brand Voice and Messaging:

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.

Qualifications:
